Curaçao, the Dutch Caribbean island and the smallest country ever to compete at the World Cup, on Sunday scored its first-ever FIFA World Cup goal, equalising against Germany in the 23rd minute of the first half following Die Mannschaft's sixth-minute opener.
The island nation of 150,000 people is currently slugging it out against four-time champions Germany in the Group E football match being played in Houston.
The goal came following a Curaçao attack: a shot by Livano Comenencia which was deflected off a German defender and past the helpless Manuel Neuer.
The goal sent Curaçao fans and supporters inside Houston Stadium wild in jubilation, a feat that would be etched in the history of the small island nation's football.
