The Singappen special team acted swiftly by arresting a man for his obscene behaviour with a woman worker in Dindigul on Sunday.During a grievance raised at an awareness interaction, when the 19-year-old woman narrated her ordeal on how a man behaved, the team acted promptly and secured the accused.According to the complainant, when she had gone to the restroom in the Bazaar area, where she was working in a textile firm as a saleswoman, the man, after seeing her, indulged in obscene behaviour. This led to distress of the young woman.On June 13, during an awareness interaction conducted by the Singappen special team for women employees at a textile unit in Dindigul, the victim brought the incident to the notice of the team.Based on her information, Sub-Inspector Muniyammal immediately initiated action, secured the accused and handed him over to the All Women Police Station, Dindigul, for further legal proceedings.
