Spanish director Angelica Liddell returns to the Athens Epidaurus Festival at Pireos 260 with “Seppuku,” a provocative performance inspired by Yukio Mishima’s ritual suicide and his philosophy linking eroticism, beauty and death. Staged on a traditional Noh theater-inspired set, the production blends Mishima’s texts, Liddell’s personal memories, live Japanese flute music and a multinational cast. The work forms a ritual-like meditation on mortality, freedom and artistic extremity. Tickets start at €25 from more.com.
