The first days of Toronto’s FIFA Fan Festival have faced some growing pains, with a sudden weather-related closure along with complaints about access to water and long lines.

The trouble began on the event’s first day on Thursday, when celebrations were abruptly cancelled midgame due to risk of lightning and poor weather conditions. Disappointed soccer fans watching Mexico take on South Africa were ordered off the grounds immediately.
