Senator Seriake Dickson has met with Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, following recent controversies sparked by comments he made regarding attacks from some of Obi’s supporters.
Dickson disclosed the meeting in a statement on Thursday, saying Obi visited him alongside other leaders of the party for a closed-door meeting that lasted about three hours.
The meeting came shortly after the Bayelsa West senator expressed concern over what he described as attacks from some supporters of Obi despite their shared political objectives.
According to Dickson, the discussions focused on the activities of the party and recent issues that had generated concerns among stakeholders.
