A 37-year-old woman died after falling from the sixth floor of an apartment building in Mayuri Nagar in Miyapur on Friday afternoon, while her six-month-old daughter survived with minor injuries.According to the police, the incident was reported around 3.45 p.m. The deceased was identified as Esha Sahoo, a private employee residing in Mayuri Nagar. Originally from Madhya Pradesh, she had been living in Hyderabad with her family.Police said Sahoo had been married for 11 years and is survived by her husband and two daughters, eight-year-old Vidi and six-month-old Vani.Preliminary enquiries indicate that she had been experiencing depression following the birth of her second child six months ago. Police said she fell from the apartment building while carrying the infant.Sahoo died at the scene, while the baby escaped with minor injuries. Investigators said the presence of fencing near the building is reduced the impact of the fall for the child.
