The special court for the trial of cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Coimbatore on Friday, June 12, 2026, granted additional time to the two accused in the Sulur sexual assault-cum-murder case to go through the chargesheet.K. Karthi (35) and R. Mohan (31) of Pallapalayam, who were served copies of the chargesheet on Thursday, were produced before the court on Friday. The accused sought additional time to read the chargesheet that runs into 819 pages. Judge T. Bagavathiammal granted them additional time and posted to hear the case next on June 15.Special Public Prosecutor K.R.
