The changes, which take effect from 14 June, also include adjustments to services to Ukraine, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

State rail operator ZSSK has announced that starting on Sunday, 14 June, several timetable changes will take effect, including a new Monday morning connection between Bratislava and Prague, extra night-train capacity on the Zemplín route linking Bratislava and Humenné, and the return of the Beliansky Express operating between Poprad and Muszyna, in Poland.

A new EuroCity service to Prague will depart Bratislava at 07:42, arriving at 13:33 in Prague, operating on Mondays as well as on 7 July, 29 September, 29 October, and 18 November. According to the operator, the service will run without a dining car.

During the summer season, ZSSK will add two extra sleeping cars to overnight Zemplín night trains (680/681). This change applies to the night train departing from Humenné, eastern Slovakia, at 21:51 and arriving in Bratislava at 05:40, from 28 June to 14 September, and to the corresponding westbound service departing from Bratislava at 22:55 and arriving in Humenné at 07:29, from 29 June to 15 September.

Travelling between Poprad and Muszyna, Poland, via Plaveč, the Beliansky Express returns each weekend from 13 June.
