Traffic diversions will be in force between Saturday and Monday (June 13-June 15) in parts of the city for reconstruction of a bridge over the Hussain Sagar surplus nala at Arvind Nagar and Ashok Nagar.According to the Hyderabad Traffic Police, the works involve dismantling the existing bridge slab and installing girders for the construction of a new slab. Diversions will be implemented in the limits of Chikkadpally and Gandhinagar traffic police stations, covering the stretch between Ashok Nagar X Road and Indira Park X Road.Round-the-clock diversions will be enforced from June 13 to June 15 in the Chikkadpally traffic police station limits.Traffic coming from Street No. 9, Himayathnagar towards Indira Park X Road will not be permitted towards Indira Park and will instead be diverted at Ashok Nagar X Road through the Sub-Registrar Office, Bakaram Bridge, LIC Colony, Banda Maisamma X Road and Dharna Chowk Marg before reaching Indira Park X Road.Vehicles travelling from RTC X Road towards Indira Park X Road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar X Road through Kavadiguda, Bakaram Bridge, LIC Colony, Banda Maisamma X Road and Dharna Chowk Marg.Traffic from Bakaram and RC Reddy Lane heading towards Indira Park X Road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar X Road towards Street No. 9, Suraj Nagar Nala Bridge, Domalguda T Junction and then towards Indira Park or Himayathnagar Y Junction.Additional diversions will be in place between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. from June 13 to June 15 within the Gandhinagar traffic police station limits.Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma towards Ashok Nagar X Road will be diverted at Indira Park towards Banda Maisamma, LIC Colony and Bakaram Bridge.Vehicles travelling from Dharna Chowk towards Ashok Nagar X Road will be diverted at Indira Park X Road towards the A.V. College-Domalguda lane.Traffic from the A.V. College-Domalguda lane towards Ashok Nagar X Road will be diverted at Indira Park X Road towards Banda Maisamma, LIC Colony and Bakaram Bridge.Traffic police have advised commuters to use alternative routes and avoid the affected stretch wherever possible.
