A free orthopaedic medical camp and scientific awareness programme will be organised on June 14 (Sunday) as part of the monthly specialist healthcare initiatives jointly conducted by the Service Health Organisation (SHO) Hypertension and Diabetic Club and Manavata Voluntary Service Organisation.In a statement issued on Friday, SHO founder T. Seva Kumar and Manavata president Pavuluri Ramesh said the camp would be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the SHO building in 2/1 Brodipet, Guntur.Renowned orthopaedic surgeon P. Seetharama Prasad will provide free consultations to patients suffering from bone, joint and musculoskeletal disorders. Before the consultations, a scientific awareness session will be conducted to educate participants on various orthopaedic conditions and the latest treatment options available.The programme will cover a wide range of health issues, including back pain, neck pain, knee ailments, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, Vitamin D deficiency, gout, uric acid-related disorders and joint replacement surgeries. Specialists will also explain preventive measures, diagnostic approaches and treatment modalities for these conditions.The organisers appealed to the public, particularly senior citizens and individuals experiencing bone and joint problems, to make use of the free camp and benefit from expert medical guidance.
