Retail inflation, based on Consumer Price Index rose to 3.93 per cent in May as against 3.48 per cent of April, Government reported on Friday.Here are highlights:- Inflation rates for rural and urban are 4.25 per cent and 3.53 per cent, respectively- Year-on year food inflation, based on Consumer Food Price Index, in May, 2026 is 4.78 per cent.
