Tinubu made the remarks on Friday during his Democracy Day address, where he reflected on Nigeria’s democratic journey, paid tribute to pro-democracy activists, and called on citizens and institutions to safeguard the country's democratic gains.
Speaking on the forthcoming elections in Ekiti and Osun states, the President stressed that public trust in elections remains fundamental to the survival of democracy.
