…Says ‘outcome of election must reflect the people’s will’
Ahead of tomorrow’s Osun state gubernatorial election, President Bola Tinubu has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and the security agencies to ensure a peaceful and transparent election in Osun State.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, said in a statement, that the President also charged the people of the state to come out and participate fully to elect their Governor
The charge came as the people of Osun State go to the polls on Saturday, August 15, 2026, to elect their governor in an election where 15 candidates are contesting.
Among the contestants are the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, the All Progressives Congress candidate, Munirudeen Oyebamiji, and the African Democratic Congress candidate, Najeem Salaam.
