Prime Video will continue its romance streak into the fall, announcing Thursday that the upcoming feature adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s The Love Hypothesis will have a fall release on the platform.

The feature film, set to release on the streamer Sept. 23, stars Lili Reinhart as Olive Smith, a stressed-out graduate student, and Tom Bateman as Dr. Adam Carlsen, a grouchy young professor. The story follows the age-old romantic-comedy trope of fake dating.

First look photos were released of Reinhart and Bateman were released Thursday. A video dropped on social media Thursday morning showing Reinhart grabbing a sugary coffee treat, a nod to her character Olive who often orders caffeinated concoctions on her on campus “dates” with Bateman’s Adam.

Reinhart takes a sip from the coffee cup before asking the barista, “Can I actually get sprinkles on this?” The cup reads “9.23” to reference the release date.

“The Love Hypothesis follows Olive (Reinhart), a brilliant Ph.D. candidate focused on her future in academia,” the film’s synopsis reads. “But when she realizes her best friend Ahn (Rachel Marsh) has fallen for her crush Jeremy (Nicholas Duvernay), Olive impulsively kisses intimidating professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman) to prove she’s moved on.”
