The Boox Go 6 Gen II turns one of the best Android e-readers into a pocketable notepad with support for a stylus.
Boox says the Go 6 is “built for life on the move.” With a screen of just 6 inches in size, the Go 6 Gen II is easily considered a travel or everyday companion. It takes up as little space as a flagship Android device, but instead of an OLED panel, Boox’s Go 6 is equipped with an anti-glare HD ePaper display with warm and cool light tuning.
The company has priced the small tablet at $199, which is reasonable for a device that likely won’t replace your smartphone any time soon. It’s powered by a humble, but upgraded, 3GB of RAM and Qualcomm 2.0G Octa-core processor.
The chipset doesn’t make this e-reader any less capable, as Boox’s other tablets prove. It runs on Android 11 and has the same Play Store access as most devices. The display and internals let the 1,500mAh battery last for much longer than a device with full color display.
The Boox Go 6 Gen II is purely adorable with what the company says is a design inspired by suitcases, of all things. The front display is surrounded by a white bezel and the back takes on several muted colorways.
