Insider Brief
ICSC has inaugurated an IQM Radiance 54 quantum computer at CINECA in Italy, integrating it with the Leonardo supercomputer for hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows.
The system, named NOX, is the first on-premises superconducting quantum computer at CINECA and the second IQM quantum computer deployed in Italy.
Researchers will use the platform for applications in optimization, simulation, machine learning, and experimentation with hybrid HPC-quantum computing environments.
PRESS RELEASE — The Italian Research Centre on High Performance Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing (ICSC) today inaugurated the IQM Radiance 54 quantum computer at CINECA, one of Europe’s leading supercomputing centers, enabling advanced applications in optimization, simulation, and machine learning.
