Shahar “flameZ” Shushan just posted the highest individual map rating of his Major career. For a player who already has two Major titles and a top-ten HLTV ranking, that’s saying something.

The 22-year-old Israeli entry fragger, playing under the Team Vitality banner, hit the mark during Major competition, a setting where pressure tends to flatten performance rather than elevate it.

A career built on showing up when it counts

FlameZ has participated in six Major tournaments across his career. He’s won two of them, including the StarLadder Budapest Major in 2025.

For those unfamiliar with CS2 ratings, a rating of 1.00 means you’re performing at an average professional level. Anything above that means you’re outperforming your peers. FlameZ has been posting ratings around 1.18 in recent events, which places him firmly in elite territory.
