Daiichi Properties sets a new benchmark for sustainable office developments in the Philippines after three of its Bonifacio Global City properties earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Operations and Maintenance (O+M) certifications, including the country’s first-ever LEED O+M Platinum recognition for an office building.
This milestone marks a defining moment for the Philippine office sector, highlighting a growing shift toward operational sustainability and globally aligned building performance standards.
Leading this achievement is The Finance Centre on 26th Street, which was awarded LEED O+M Platinum, becoming the first office building in the Philippines — and only the second in Southeast Asia — to attain the highest certification level under the rating system. The recognition places the development among a select group of high-performing buildings in the region and reflects Daiichi Properties’ long-term commitment to creating workplaces that are efficient, people-centered, and environmentally responsible.
The recognition forms part of a broader sustainability push across Daiichi Properties’ office portfolio. Alongside The Finance Centre, World Plaza on 5th Avenue also achieved LEED O+M Platinum, making it the second office building in the Philippines to reach this distinction. Meanwhile, One World Place on 32nd Street earned LEED O+M Gold, upgrading from its previous LEED Core and Shell Silver certification through continued improvements in operational performance and building management.
