Cape Town Tourism has cemented the city’s reputation as a world-class destination and storyteller, securing three Gold Awards at the prestigious International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA).
The recognition, announced following the festival’s 2026 proceedings, highlights the organisation’s innovative approach to destination marketing. Instead of relying on traditional “postcard moments,” their campaigns leaned into authentic human experiences, focusing on the grit, complexity, and warmth of the people who call the city home.
