Emirates will be content to break even this financial year if the Iran conflict persists, prioritising staying cash-positive.
Tim Clark reports a swift rebound, with about 80 per cent of services restored and average load factors at three-quarters, with some London flights near capacity.
The carrier posted $6.3 billion annual profit in March, which Mr Clark says would have reached $7 billion without March groundings.
Daily Dubai transfer passengers are about 40,000, down from roughly 100,000 pre-conflict, but numbers are rising as confidence in transiting the hub improves.
