MANILA, Philippines – Passengers traveling to and from the Philippines may pay slightly lower airfares on flights booked from June 16 to 30 after the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) again reduced the allowable fuel surcharge.
In an advisory on Thursday, the regulator said a Level 12 fuel surcharge will be in effect for the second half of June, down from Level 13 in the first half of the month and well below the record-high Level 19 imposed from April 16 to 30.

Under Level 12, airlines may collect a fuel surcharge ranging from P389 to P1,137 for domestic flights and from P1,284.40 to P9,550.13 for international flights, depending on distance.
