Australia’s Monash University has launched a new supercomputer.

First announced in 2025 and launched this month, the new Monash AdVanced Environment for Research and Intelligent Computing (MAVERIC) system is housed in CDC’s Brooklyn facility in Melbourne.

The AU$60 million (US$42.1m) cluster comprises Nvidia GB200 NVL72 rack system and Dell PowerEdge XE9712 servers and uses liquid cooling.
