The transformative power of music, a vibrant community spirit, and the world-class acoustics of the Endler Hall are set to unite some of the world’s finest musicians this July for the annual Stellenbosch International Chamber Music Festival (SICMF).

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Western Cape's historic winelands, the festival has earned a reputation as a global beacon for cultural diplomacy. It offers a rare opportunity for international artists and local talent to engage positively and with deep empathy, creating a common language that transcends differences in ethnicity, ideology, and creed.

Grammy Award-winning American conductor Michael Repper, who is among the high-profile faculty returning to South Africa, expressed his anticipation for the event.

"I cannot wait to return to SICMF because the festival has such a special atmosphere," Repper said. "The level of music-making is incredible, but what stands out most to me is the sense of community and the enthusiasm of both the faculty and the students. It is a place unmatched in energy and joy for making music, and that energy is contagious. Every time I am there, I leave feeling inspired and invigorated, counting down the days until the next time."
