In view of a protest organised by the Karnataka Dalitha Sanghatana Samithi at Freedom Park from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions and diversions in and around the Central Business District to ensure smooth vehicular movement.According to the advisory, vehicles approaching Freedom Park from Mysore Bank Circle via K.G. Road and intending to take a right turn will be required to use the Maharani Underpass Road on Palace Cross Road.Traffic movement between Freedom Park Junction and Kanakadasa Circle has been temporarily restricted in both directions, and no vehicles will be permitted on the stretch during the protest.Motorists travelling from Khode Junction towards K.R. Circle have been advised to use the Old JDS Office Road to avoid congestion, as protesters are expected to march on foot from the City Railway Station via the flyover road.To facilitate traffic flow, the stretch from Subbanna Junction to M.T.R. Junction, currently operating as a one-way road, has been temporarily converted into a two-way road. Commuters heading towards Gandhinagar may use this route.Parking of all types of vehicles has been prohibited from Khode Junction to Maharani Junction and on V.
