Lenovo is coming to MWC with its usual collection of new laptops, concepts, and ThinkPads, as well as throwing a couple of new Android tablets into the mix including the “ThinkTab.”
Coming up in July, the new Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (Gen 2) is a 13-inch Android tablet that brings some power despite costing just $419.
Idea Tab Pro (Gen 2) is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, features up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The display comes in a standard glass setup, as well as a matte edition that Lenovo calls “paper-like.” It further has a 10,200 mAh battery, a microSD card slot, and runs Android 16 with updates through Android 18 and four years of security patches. The tablet is just 6.2mm thick.
It’ll come in two shades of grey as well as a fun “Jelly Mint” green, with a keyboard and folio case.
On the software side of things, Idea Tab Pro will be Lenovo’s first tablet with Qira AI, while also featuring “Smarter Reader” for note-taking, AI transcription of recordings, and a “Smart Key” that can launch “Smart AI Input” for AI text generation and translation.
