Charmaine Curtis, the mother of murdered Vinchernico Theron, outside their home in Mitchells Plain following his disappearance.
Ten people believed to be behind the murder, kidnapping, and assault of 20-year-old Vinchernico Theron five years ago in Mitchells Plain, whose body has not been found, will finally hear their fate next week when judgment is expected to be handed down.
Last week marked the fifth anniversary of Theron’s disappearance, with his family clinging onto hope that the accused will finally break their silence and reveal where their son’s remains are.
Wayne Jacobs, Jaden Abrahams, Keenan Coetzee, Thomas van der Merwe, Jonathan Beukes, Lee Malan, Miche Jacobs, Zakier Abrahams, Veronica de Jongh, and Faziel Manuel are facing charges of murder and kidnapping and defeating the ends of justce relating to Theron.
They are also facing charges of the assault with the intent to cause grievious bodily harm and kidnapping of another victim, Leon Paulse
