Water level in Siruvani dam has shown a gradual increase after rain in its catchments over the past week. According to officials, in the 24 hours that ended at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the catchments recorded a rainfall of 80 mm, the highest recorded in the past week, while the foothill area received 31 mm.Water level in the dam stood at 9.81 feet against its full reservoir level of 50 feet.
