The club has officially confirmed that Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia will all depart when their contracts expire on June 30, 2026, a move that frees up approximately £640,000 per week in salary obligations.
The retained list, submitted to the Premier League and published on the club’s official website, makes the exits formal.

Casemiro, the 34-year-old defensive midfielder, arrived at Old Trafford as a five-time Champions League winner. His tenure started strong but became increasingly difficult to justify at his wage level as his performances declined.
Jadon Sancho, 26, represents one of the more turbulent chapters in recent United history. His time was marked by a public falling out with former manager Erik ten Hag and subsequent loan spells.
