Her first book, Wild Swans, was published in the 1990s and sold millions of copies: Jung Chang tells the story of China through the story of her own family. This year, she published its sequel, Fly, Wild Swans (Longanesi), which explores the deep relationship between Jung Chang, who has been living in London for decades, and her mother, who remained in China.
