Expanded to 48 teams for the first time, the 2026 World Cup is the biggest ever and is going to cause headaches for bracketologists across the globe, amateur or otherwise.Thirty-two teams advance out of the group stage, the top teams and then eight of the 12 best third-place finishers, playing in the new Round of 32.
