An All Progressives Congress chieftain, Senator Emma Nwaka, has said he is working for President Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition, while endorsing Governor Alex Otti of Abia State to secure a second term in office.

The Isuikwuato-born political heavyweight, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, and former state chairman of the PDP, now a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, gave the endorsement during a visit to Otti in his office.

Nwaka said, “I am working for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office at the federal level.

“Any person conversant with the almost comatose state of the economy of Nigeria and the inertia that characterised governance prior to his assumption of office will agree that the President deserves a second term, if for nothing else, for having infused life and renewed hope into every ramification of governance. I believe that before long, the trickle-down effect of his bold and courageous economic reforms will kick in and shall begin to be felt by the generality of Nigerians”.

Nwaka said he remains a committed member of the APC, but added that Otti has performed exceptionally well for Abia State, surpassing the achievements of all previous governors of the state.
