Romain Bigeard has made a habit of pulling back the curtain on competitive League of Legends. The G2 Esports general manager just dropped the team’s scrimmage data for the LEC 2026 Spring split, revealing a 52.8% overall win rate in practice matches heading into the tournament.

The numbers behind the curtain

G2’s 52.8% scrim win rate marks a notable decline from Bigeard’s previously disclosed figures. In earlier splits, the GM shared win rates of 61.3% and 58%. During LEC Versus, he revealed a 64% scrim win rate with a 159-88 record.

Karmine Corp emerged as G2’s toughest opponent in the practice room, which tracks perfectly with what happened on stage. GIANTX was the team G2 scrimmaged against most frequently.

The KC difficulty rating is particularly interesting given the finals outcome. G2 defeated Karmine Corp 3-2 in the LEC 2026 Spring grand final, a series that went the full distance.
