The previously announced IMAX film camera popcorn bucket might be the geekiest snack merch ever for film nerds, but The Odyssey‘s second popcorn bucket has it beat in terms of geekiness for literature nerds. The Odyssey‘s new popcorn bucket is a Trojan horse. No, not metaphorically—unless you’re planning to sneak something other than popcorn into the theater using the container, in which case, good on you for both sticking it to the man and being fully committed to the bit. The bucket is literally shaped like a horse, with a secret hatch in its stomach that you can open, which sends the popcorn tumbling out, just like Odysseus and company did during the Trojan War (make sure you’ve got a secondary bucket or box for your treats to spill into though—don’t go making a giant mess for the overworked cinema employees to clean up just because you think it’s funny). FantasyLand News reports that it will be available for purchase at Regal, AMC, and Cinemark theaters.
