The Border Management Authority (BMA) has successfully facilitated the repatriation of 663 Ghanaian nationals from South Africa to their home country over the weekend, showcasing a robust and coordinated effort between South African authorities and the Ghanaian High Commission in Pretoria.

On Saturday, a contingent of 332 Ghanaian nationals arrived at OR Tambo International Airport for repatriation.

The group was carefully managed by the Ghanaian High Commission as part of an organised operation to ensure lawful and orderly movement at the port of entry.

Dr Michael Masiapato, the Commissioner of the BMA, explained that after an extensive check-in procedure, the travellers were processed through BMA Immigration for verification and clearance.
