Akubueze further alleged that he was denied access to a venue in Awka South where activities connected to the primary election were said to have taken place.

An aspirant for the Awka North and South Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Engineer Chukwuebuka Akubueze, has raised concerns over the conduct of the party's primary election, urging the national leadership of the party to review the process and ensure that justice prevails.

Akubueze, in a statement made available to journalists, questioned what he described as discrepancies surrounding the primary election and the implementation of the Option A4 voting system adopted by the party.

The former student leader, who is seeking the party's ticket for the House of Representatives, expressed concern over the outcome of the exercise, using philosophical reflections and traditional proverbs to challenge the credibility of the process.

In one of the remarks contained in the statement, Akubueze questioned how he would explain to his children "that 17 is greater than 3,478," a comment interpreted as a reference to figures associated with the primary election results.
