Excitement is high about the FIFA World Cup in Toronto and Vancouver, but the rest of Canada has yet to catch football fever, a new poll has found.
As the world’s most popular sporting event begins this week in Canada, Mexico and the U.S., Pollara Strategic Insights found Canadians were largely indifferent outside the two host regions of the Greater Toronto Area and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
