As tensions continue to rise, several African countries have stepped up to repatriate their citizens due to safety concerns in South Africa.
This comes after an anti-illegal migrant group has been going around different cities across South Africa and has delivered a June 30 deadline for undocumented migrants to leave.
On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation amid growing tensions over illegal immigration.
Ramaphosa announced that the Department of Home Affairs, the Border Management Authority (BMA), the South African Police Service (SAPS), and other law enforcement agencies will intensify efforts to identify and deport undocumented foreign nationals residing illegally in South Africa.
