After a successful debut last year, the Lego festival is returning to Legoland Windsor for summer 2026, bringing with it six weeks of building challenges, live entertainment and interactive experiences for families.Running from 20 July until 31 August, the event is included in the price of standard admission and will see the theme park transformed into five festival zones packed with Lego characters, hands-on activities and exclusive attractions.There's even a free Lego gift up for grabs for children who complete a series of building challenges throughout the day.If you're planning a family day out over the summer holidays, here's everything you need to know about Lego Festival 2026, including the dates, activities, ticket prices and how to make the most of your visit.The Lego festival is returning bigger and better for 2026 (Legoland Windsor Resort)Designed to celebrate creativity, imagination and play, the Lego festival returns bigger than ever for 2026 with five dedicated zones spread across the resort.Families will receive a Lego festival wristband and map on arrival before setting off to explore the attractions, live shows and building challenges.This year's event includes new additions across the music, creative and chill-out zones, while two brand-new experiences are also set to debut in the thrill and play zones.Visitors can also take part in the Lego festival “three build challenge”, where you can collect stamps as you complete activities around the park.Those who complete three or more building challenges can claim a free three-in-one Lego creator gift before heading home.Dates and ticket prices Legoland Windsor has confirmed that Lego festival will run from 20 July until 31 August 2026, covering the six-week UK school holiday period.The event is included in the cost of standard theme park admission, with tickets currently starting from £32 per person (usually £68) when booked in advance. Children under 90cm can enter free of charge.Alongside the festival activities, guests can enjoy more than 55 rides, attractions and shows across the resort.There are five confirmed zones, including two brand new additions for 2026 (Legoland Windsor Resort)Music zoneMusic fans can head to the music zone to watch Lego rockstars and popstars go head to head in the battle of the bands live show.There’s also a giant festival mosaic to help build, as well as photo opportunities with themed Lego models and characters, including Melody Raye and Lyric Santos after the performance.Creative zoneThe creative zone is designed for budding builders and creators.New activities include “creatureverse” building tables and master model builder sessions, where children can create everything from imaginative animals to colourful fantasy creatures. Families can also create their own feathers to add to a giant Lego peacock installation.Chill out zoneFor a calmer pace, the chill out zone returns with a secret garden theme. Build Lego botanicals flowers as part of a growing community display, there are also new butterfly and bug building activities for 2026.The Hopsy live show and meet and greets with a Lego gardener character will also take place here throughout the day.Thrill zoneOne of the biggest additions this year is the all-new thrill zone.Legoland has confirmed the area will feature a sports-inspired theme and high-energy challenges, although full details are being kept under wraps for now.Play zoneGaming fans will be excited by the play zone.
