Singaporean data center operator ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has acquired a 3.5-acre land parcel in Navi Mumbai, India, for a potential data center.
STT GDC paid Rs 2.8 billion ($30m) for the land parcel, which is located in the TTC Industrial Area of Navi Mumbai, according to documents seen by real estate intelligence firm CRE Matrix.

The parcel formerly belonged to Repro India Limited, a bookprinting business.
Details about STT GDC’s plans for the parcel were not shared.
