The police said preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects were allegedly involved in providing logistics support to criminal elements hiding in forest camps.

The Kebbi State Police Command has announced the arrest of seven suspected bandits in a series of intelligence-led operations targeting criminal networks operating within the Soda Forest axis and surrounding border communities in the Bagudo Local Government Area of the state.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bashir Usman, the suspects were apprehended in separate operations conducted along the Illo–Lolo Road and the Bakin Ruwa–Ka'oje axis following intensified security operations against banditry in the area.
