Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives, Philip Agbese
The Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Philip Agbese, has commended the Nigerian Armed Forces for what he described as their exceptional performance despite financial and operational challenges, following the recent rescue of 360 abductees from the Mandara Mountains in Borno State.
PUNCH Online had reported that the Nigerian military, particularly troops of Operation HADIN KAI, for the successful rescue of 360 abductees from the Mandara Mountains, a notorious terrorist enclave in the southern part of the state.
Recall that Boko Haram terrorists had attacked a military base in Ngoshe, burning operational vehicles, dispersing security forces, killing an unspecified number of people, and abducting several others.
In a post on his X handle on Tuesday, Agbese said the operation carried out by troops of Operation Hadin Kai demonstrated the military’s resilience, professionalism and commitment to combating insurgency and restoring peace across the country.
