MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has extended tax filing and payment deadlines until the end of June for taxpayers affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao.
Under Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 062-2026, deadlines for the filing of tax returns, payment of taxes, and submission of required documents falling from June 8 to June 29 have been moved to June 30. This covers both online and manual filings.

The relief measure applies to taxpayers in General Santos City, Sarangani, and South Cotabato. Taxpayers who comply within the extended deadline will not be subject to penalties, surcharges, or interest.
