The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has condemned the attack on its enforcement officers during a routine environmental monitoring and compliance operation conducted along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, warning that those responsible would be brought to justice.

Reacting to the incident, LAWMA Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Muyiwa Gbadegesin, warned against any attempt to obstruct the authority's lawful activities.
Gbadegesin stressed that the agency remained committed to protecting public infrastructure and maintaining sanitation standards.
