EFF leader Julius Malema has been named in one of the court papers at the Madlanga Commission that he allegedly colluded with Crime Intel head, Maj-Gen. Feroz Khan, in an effort to remove one fo the saps general.
Newly released court papers have revealed claims of a covert relationship between EFF leader Julius Malema and Crime Intel. boss Feroz Khan, alleging the pair worked together in efforts to remove a senior intelligence watchdog while exchanging sensitive information.
This raised questions about whether political influence and state intelligence play a role in influencing certain decisions.
The claims are contained in an affidavit by Tshepo Nyatlo, an investigator for the Madlanga Commission, which is examining allegations of misconduct within the crime intelligence and law-enforcement structures.
The allegations are that there was an alleged 2021 effort to remove then Inspector-General of Intelligence Isaac Dintwe.
