Eetha, the much-awaited Hindi film starring Shraddha Kapoor, will release in theatres on August 28, 2026, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the makers announced on Tuesday (June 9). The film marks a reunion between director Laxman Utekar and producer Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films after the blockbuster 2025 historical drama Chhaava.According to reports, Eetha is a biopic based on the life of the legendary dancer, singer and Tamasha artiste Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, and is set to trace her journey between 1940 and 1990.Other details regarding the project remain unknown.
