War update: 260 clashes on front line over past day, heavy fighting in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors

Ukrainian Defense Forces recorded 260 combat clashes with Russian troops over the past day, June 8.

According to Ukrinform, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in an update as of 8:00 on June 9.

Russian forces carried out 88 airstrikes, dropping 282 guided aerial bombs. They also used 10,282 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,725 artillery strikes, including 55 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian Air Force units struck six areas of Russian manpower concentration and three command posts for UAV operations.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one engagement was recorded, with Russian forces carrying out 66 shelling attacks.
