For the first time in the history of the Posidonia exhibition, the Greek yachting industry was placed at the centre of a discussion focusing on the sector’s growth prospects and the investments reshaping its future.During the panel discussion, “Greek Yachting 2026: Navigating the Frontier of Innovation and Hospitality Excellence,” Stavros Katsikadis, Managing Director of LAMDA Marinas and President of the Greek Marinas Association, highlighted the pivotal role of modern marina infrastructure in enhancing the international competitiveness of Greek yachting.As he noted, Greek marinas have undergone significant upgrades in recent years, with projects such as Flisvos Marina serving as benchmarks for service quality and sustainability. At the same time, investments in the marinas of Agios Kosmas, Vouliagmeni, Chios, Alimos, Nafplio and Corfu are expected to further strengthen the country’s infrastructure base and support the sector’s continued expansion.Particular emphasis was also placed on the development of a robust marina network across Greece and on the positive long-term outlook for the yachting market, driven by growing international demand, upgraded facilities and the country’s strategic position as a leading Mediterranean yachting destination.
