The APM characterised the breakthrough as a vital blow against the criminal networks currently destabilising the South-West region.
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Governorship Campaign Council in Osun State has lauded security forces following the successful rescue of the relations of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, while simultaneously demanding an immediate escalation of security operations to free abducted schoolteachers and children in Ogbomoso.
In a statement issued on Sunday by Ezekiel Olusegun Oladapo of the Osun APM Campaign Council Media Directorate, the party extended its commendation to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.
The commendation follows a high-stakes weekend operation that successfully liberated Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul—the younger sister of the former minister—alongside her two young sons from a kidnappers' den.
