Minister for Prohibition and Excise K. Vignesh on Monday conducted a review meeting in Dindigul with the officials of various departments regarding ongoing development projects in the district. He also distributed welfare assistance to the beneficiaries.Dindigul Collector Durgamoorthi, Dindigul MP R. Sachithanantham, Karur MP S. Jothimani, Nilakottai MLA R. Ayyanar, Dindigul Superintendent of Police A. Pradeep and others were present at the review meeting.The Minister instructed the officials to ensure that the schemes being implemented by the government reached the people. Officials from all the departments should work in coordination to fulfil the basic needs of the people. Necessary steps should be taken to resolve the grievances of the people. Strict action would be taken against those officials who fail to act on the petitions submitted by the people, the Minister said.During the review meeting, the Minister reviewed the progress of the development projects implemented by various departments in Dindigul district.
