Eleven persons were arrested by the Gachibowli police for unlawful assembly and creating panic among the public over a land dispute in Nanakramguda on Monday, June 7.According to the police, information was received that a group of 10 to 15 individuals had gathered at a disputed site in Nanakramguda, leading to tension in the area and concerns over law and order. A police team rushed to the spot and found 11 persons allegedly behaving aggressively and disturbing public peace.Police said the individuals failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for their presence and allegedly obstructed officers in discharging their duties. They were subsequently detained and shifted to Gachibowli police station.During the investigation, police found that the gathering was linked to a land dispute involving a company identified as Janachaitanya. Two employees of the company, Shiva Prasad and Srikanth Goud, had allegedly called the individuals to the site in connection with the dispute.Those taken into custody were identified as Harvinder Singh, Surjit Singh, Meraj, Jagdish Singh, Harpreet Singh, Simranjit Singh, Upender Singh, Charan Singh, Balwinder Singh and Manmeet Singh, among others. Police said four of the detained persons had previous criminal cases registered against them.A case was registered under Sections 189, 132 and 270 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for unlawful assembly, disturbing public peace, creating panic and obstructing public servants in the discharge of their duties. The accused were produced before a court.Serilingampally Deputy Commissioner of Police Ch.
